DESCRIPTION:Tharros Place\, a local nonprofit\, is hosting “Back to Wellness: Healthy Meals\, Calm Minds\, and Full Lives\,” a wellness luncheon designed to highlight the holistic services Tharros Place provides for 12-17-year-old survivors of human trafficking. The luncheon will feature outdoor wellness experiences\, a lunch in the ballroom\, can’t-miss raffle items\, and a surprise musical guest. Tickets sold out last year\, so get yours early. \n\nSponsorships range from $750 to $5\,000 and include tickets to the event\, branding opportunities\, and membership in Tharros Place’s Courage Club. In the United States\, there are 1.5 million human trafficking victims\, most of whom are children. Savannah is no exception\, due to its high poverty rate\, international port\, booming tourism industry\, and the crossroads of Highway 95 and I-16. \n\nTharros Place\, a 501(c)(3) that takes its name from the Greek word for courage\, was created to fill a gap in services.
