WHY JOIN THE SDBA?

If you are involved in the downtown Savannah business community and join the Savannah Downtown Business Association, you become part of a larger voice. The Savannah Downtown Business Association is an advocate for businesses, non-profits and individuals and is committed to the success of downtown Savannah.

A collective voice is stronger together than alone. We meet with elected officials to promote your values and interests so that you can focus on running your small business. Joining SDBA will bring excellent networking, collaboration, and community partnership opportunities to your business.

HERE ARE FOUR WAYS THE SDBA SUPPORTS SMALL BUSINESSES.

ADVOCATE

An influential representative that listens to its members and is a resource and liaison that advocates for members with local and state government officials to ensure a prosperous business community.

CONNECT

Monthly luncheons, held the second Wednesday of every month, provide an opportunity for members to connect through networking. During our luncheons, we inform and educate our members on topics relevant to sustaining a healthy, well-rounded and profitable downtown.

INFORM

Communicating vital information to members concerning legislative actions, events and issues that affect local businesses. It provides an opportunity for small business owners to stay in front of issues that may affect their business long term.

ADVANCE

An independent organization with a strong, cohesive voice that frequently advocates for our members on issues that affect downtown businesses. We work towards the common goal of a thriving economy based on cooperation between local businesses, governmental agencies and the residential community.

TESTIMONIALS

"I represent CardConnect merchant services, and when I moved to Savannah a year ago, I joined DBA immediately. I look forward to the monthly luncheons and being involved with the DBA where I get to meet new friends and businesses regularly that continue to welcome me into the community."
