Our Story
The Savannah Downtown Business Association (SDBA) was founded in 1997 with a clear mission: to be an independent advocate actively engaged in the promotion of a prosperous downtown business community.
For nearly three decades, the SDBA has served as a vital support network for downtown businesses. We meet with elected officials to promote members' values and interests, allowing them to focus on what they do best—running their small businesses.
As Savannah's only membership organization exclusively committed to downtown businesses, we bring together retailers, restaurateurs, professional service providers, utility companies, marketers, bankers, and more. Our collective voice is stronger together than alone.
Through advocacy, networking, education, and collaboration, the SDBA works tirelessly to ensure that downtown Savannah remains a thriving hub of commerce and community.
