Our Story
The Savannah Downtown Business Association was formed in 1997 by downtown business owners who wanted a single, organized voice in the rooms where decisions about downtown get made.
Nearly three decades later, that is still the work. We are Savannah's only membership organization committed exclusively to downtown businesses — a support network that meets with elected officials to represent our members' values and interests, so they can focus on running their businesses.
Today the association brings together retailers, restaurateurs, professional service providers, utilities, marketers and bankers from across downtown. Members connect at monthly networking luncheons on the second Wednesday, stay informed on the issues that affect them, and grow alongside the district they helped build.
