Privacy Policy

Savannah Downtown Business Association collects personal information you give us when you apply for membership, buy a ticket, submit an event, make a donation, or contact us. That typically means your name, business name, email address, phone number, mailing address and, where relevant, your business category and website.

We use that information to administer your membership, to run events and payments, to publish the member directory you opted into, to show members who else is attending an event (members by name and business, guests by first name and last initial), and to send you the updates you asked for. We do not sell your personal information.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never store your full card number. Email is delivered by our email provider. These providers process your data only to deliver the service to us.

Your listing in the public member directory is optional and you can turn it off at any time from Settings in the member portal. You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — the member portal offers a data export, and you can email us for anything else.

We keep membership and financial records for as long as we are required to for accounting and legal purposes, and other data only for as long as we need it.

We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences.
